Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Security Linux Engineer for a project in Maasaland, Netherlands

Description:

• The Engineer supports the Lead Engineer (technical) implementation of the set design and the preparation of designs for additional functionality;

• The Engineer performs technical testing across the entire supply chain and other components;

• The Engineer shall provide the necessary configuration and management documents and manage them;

• The Engineer supports the implementation of use cases by connecting (log) sources (log), filtering, and (log) parsing

• The Engineer is structured to work and document so that the output can be inter alia used directly as evidence of internal audits

Hard requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in managing complex Linux and / or Unix environments

• Minimum 2 years experience in automation and / or configuration management

• Minimum 3 years experience in IT security

• Excellent command, both orally and in writing, of the Dutch language. (Will be tested in the interview.)

• At least 36 hours per week

• Competencies Cooperation, People oriented, Communication and Results oriented (Be tested in the interview.)

Skills:

• Demonstrable operational experience with scripting languages, preferably Python or BASH

• Demonstrable operational experience with Puppet

• Demonstrated experience with hardening Linux sytems

• Demonstrated knowledge of TCP / IP networking (routers, firewalls, switching) at CCNA level

• Demonstrable experience in implementing log management and log analysis tools in a complex (SIEM) environment

• Proven operational experience parsing / filtering and connecting logbronnen.

• Demonstrated experience with IPA / LDAP authentication
