Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Oracle DBA Specialist for a project in Capellen, Luxembourg.

Skills:

Professional Experience

• Oracle Database DBA tasks for the daily support and operation, implementation of new environments and data migration
• Application support on environments including Oracles databases, Windows Servers applications, SAP interfaces, including the capability of developing and/or maintaining custom applications in a B2B / EDI environment

Professional Knowledge

• Proven DBA experience of at least 5 years – on medium/large projects – on the management of multiple database instances, based on Oracle 10g or 11g. The mastering of the Oracle management tools and other standard management tools as QUEST/TOAD is required. Experience configuring databases in a cluster environment, handling configurations for high availability, disaster recovery tools and techniques
• Proven expertise – on medium/large projects – on the management of multiple database instances, based on Microsoft SQL Server.

• Very good knowledge of one of the two English and French
• Ability to explain issues at different levels of the hierarchy
• Ability to write clear and concise reports and technical documentation
