Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced BODS Developer for a project in Namur, Belgium

Main mission:

Guarantee the production of technical specifications and development in accordance with the functional specifications in the context of projects and application maintenance in compliance with the methods, procedures and standards in place.

Main tasks:

1. Contribution to the delivery of projects:

• Creation of extractors based on multiple types of sources
• Write technical specifications based on functional specifications.
• Develop (programming and security), configure and integrate applications based on functional specifications established in compliance with standards. (ETL and DWH)
• Inform the Business Analyst of problems that may affect the response to the request.
• Carry out unit tests by working with other developers, analysts and architects to ensure that the application meets the needs.
• Participate in the resolution of incidents by solving identified bugs and implementing temporary solutions where necessary.
• Document the application for easy maintenance.
• Respect the current methods, standards and procedures
• Ability to ensure the implementation of any technical solution

2. Contributing to application maintenance:

• Assist the analyst in the search for a technical solution.
• Develop, test, document product code.
• Apply the standards used in the development of the application.
• Ability to ensure the implementation of any technical solution

3. Technical and Operational Skills:

Management:

• ITIL or equivalent Confirmed

Method:

• 3NF or equivalent
• UML or equivalent Expert

Applications:

• Data Services Designer
• Data Services Management Console Expert

Technologies:

• ORACLE
• PL / SQL

4. Complementary elements

• Experience of more than 5 years
• At least two full life cycle projects
• Knowledge of “utilities” is a plus
• Knowledge Enterprise architect
• French as a mother tongue
• Good communicator
• Team player
• Result oriented
• Structured
• Stress-resistant
