Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Data Warehouse/BI Architect for a project in Brussels, Belgium.

Role:

Our blue-chip client wishes to recruit an experienced DWH / BI architect for the realization of its projects and keeping the DWH / BI (Microsoft SQL Server) environment available.

Tasks are under the responsibility of Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Architect:

• Identify different data sources within and outside the organization and set up an integration and data warehouse strategy.
• Design and compilation of different protocols, data structures, conventions and best practices in the data warehouse architecture and business intelligence applications.
• Define the necessary components, platforms, development environments and technology to respond best to the needs of users, always considering long-term compatibility and flexibility.
• Support and quality assurance in advanced developments, complex integrations with third-party systems, performance optimization.
• Structured follow-up and management of the various releases and schedules.
• Definition of a security strategy at the level of data, reports and environments.
• Plans and follow-up of the infrastructure that supports architecture.

Skills:

The proposed candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in implementation projects on the Microsoft Data Platform.

• Must master perfectly the following technologies / techniques:

–      SQL Server databases

–      SQL Server Integration Services

–      SQL Server Analysis Services (Multidimensional & Tabular)

–      SQL Server Reporting Services

–      Excel, PowerPivot, Power BI

–      Integration with Microsoft SharePoint

–      T-SQL, MDX, DAX, XMLA

–      PowerShell, .NET scripting (C #)

• Have a thorough experience in:

–      Set up a data warehouse, business intelligence & analytics architecture.

–      Clearly defining conventions and protocols for developers.

–      Setting up and integrating different technical environments.

–      Relational, Dimensional & Data Vault model.

–      Set up of automated ETL processes based on Meta data.

–      Planning and monitoring of the infrastructure.

–      Ensure the quality of development and testing.

• Possibility to communicate in one of both languages French/Dutch as well as English.
