Description:

 

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Project Management Consultant for a project in The Hague, Netherlands.

 

Tasks:

 

• Coordinating the execution of the projects in accordance with our clients project governance standards and project management methodology (adapted from Prince 2);
• Ensuring that all relevant project management documentation, including a realistic plan agreed among all stake holders, is in place in the Project management system at any given time. This includes participating directly in the production of project management deliverables;
• Coordinating the production and approval of project deliverables by the services, at the specified quality level and in accordance with the project implementation plan;
• Manage the required approval processes with the governance bodies of our client, including the security accreditation process when applicable;
• Ensuring the project implementation in accordance with the scope specified in the project implementation documentation;
• Identifying and proactively addressing all dependencies, issues and risks affecting the project;
• Keep overview and control of the budget available to the project and undertake the necessary financial procedures, including reporting;
• Interaction and communication with our client relevant internal stakeholders for the purpose of project implementation and monitoring, including regular project progress reporting;
• Coordinating the different project work streams and manage dependencies
• Supervising the delivery of products and services by external suppliers in accordance with the contracts in place, also addressing and resolving issues and risks related to the relationship with those suppliers.

 

Required Skills:

 

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with structured project management methodologies in projects that include both custom and COTS scenarios
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in dealing with multiple sourcing models including externalized software development and internal testing and quality assurance
• A minimum of 2 years’ Project management experience in an international environment
• Certification/diplomas or professional training certificates on project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2);
• Experience on projects with external vendors where vendor/contract management was a key success factor.
• Knowledge of planning and estimation techniques;

 

Desired Skills:

 

• Experience on projects relating to systems integration;
• Knowledge of data protection rules
• Knowledge of data migration concepts and strategies
• Excellent business English writing skills;
