Senior Network Engineer – (NATO Cleared)

Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a project in Brussels, Belgium.

Role:

• Design and plan the required network communications systems for the project.
• Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conduct testing of network design.
• Will maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Skills:

• This role requires a good understanding of network design and virtualisation technologies, preferably, CISCO, Vmware VSphere Enterprise, Hyper-V and Dell servers and NetApp Storage
• The candidate will know how to build and deploy the network switches, routers and Juniper firewalls in line with the Enterprise Architecture
• Nexor experience desireable
• The candidate must able to work independently on the network infrastructure as well as lead the wider design and build team.
• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
• NATO Security clearance is a must
