Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer for a project in Geilenkirchen, Germany.

Role:

The Software Engineering modifications described above are realized in the form of official Projects and utilize the MS Project application to realize this projects. Due to the fact that MSEC executes many Projects in parallel, using common resources, and Schedule Calendars, a Project Client-Server installation is of key importance. MSEC is currently utilizing standalone Microsoft Project licenses. Based on the use of standalone implementations, a coordinated planning of these projects is not possible.

Therefore the implementation of a MS Project Client-Server architecture is being pursued. In-house expertise is currently not available.

To realize this Client-Server installation, Specialist expertise in MS Project Server is necessary to support the MSEC in the effort to establish the architecture, install a MS Project Server capability, and transfer or integrate all currently running projects into the new Server architecture, and to allow MSEC to establish all future projects via the MS Project Server application.

Profile:

• The Contractor shall provide fully certified and qualified MS Project Sever Engineering Support (Personnel as needed to fulfill the requested requirements). These Support Personnel shall be able to advise on all aspects of MS Project Client-Server issues as well as on the collaboration, implementation, and use within the common MS Office suite, i.e. MS SharePoint.
• The primary operating language within MSEC is English, therefore all services and products within this contract shall be produced and delivered in the English language.
• For the initial installation of the Client-Server capability and the Training of the MSEC PMO and Project Staff, a Project plan together with schedule shall be provided by the Service Provider. This may be jointly developed with the assistance of the Purchaser and will be accessible at all times to both the Service Provider and the Purchaser representatives. The project plan shall include all activities and tasks and will be the official plan to follow during the initial Phases of this contract.
• The service Provider shall provide project status reports, in writing, to the Purchaser quarterly, or as requested. These Reports will provide a short summary of the days and tasks requested and fulfilled.
• Prioritization of activities established between the Purchaser and the Provider will be determined by the Purchaser and coordinated with the Provider.
• The Service Provider shall have access to the MSEC Project Management infrastructure, Project Management processes, as well as access to the Project Implementation architecture with the MSEC MS SharePoint portal. In line with this, the Service Provider may be asked by the Purchaser for recommendations on corrections, improvements to design changes to the Project Process implementation within SharePoint. As such, the Service Provider must also be knowledgeable on the MS SharePoint implementation.
