Service Desk Express Engineer

Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Service Desk Express Engineer for a project in Amersfoort, Netherlands.

Types of activities:

• Configure and possibly troubleshooting a 50E (BMC Service Desk Express);

• The SDE engineer is expected to provide, where appropriate, support during exercises;

• Perform system testing and participate in the integration and acceptance testing;

• Preparation of technical design documentation and installation guides;

• Provide 3rd line support for network problems within the project

Requirements (KO criteria):

• At least a bachelor degree (study towards science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent herewith

Skills:

• Demonstrable detailed knowledge of designing and building and maintaining a Service Desk Express environment.

• Demonstrable detailed knowledge of maintaining a Service Desk Express environment.

• Knowledge and experience in making and maintaining (automated) installation and configuration scripts and systems for the SDE implementation

• Knowledge and experience in VB scripting and PowerShell

• Knowledge and experience with linkages between SDE systems and with other ISM systems (HP AssetCenter and Service Centre)
